Dear reader
The Holographer has been silent since its launch in January. This has been
partly due to a redesign of the site. My colleagues at Focal Image have
carried out a conceptual redesign, but there is more to come from our
graphic designers. This should not cause delays in future.
I am happy to say that we have three new contributions. Becky Deem has
written an obituary for Jerry Pethick, Michael Harrison has written
another, comprehensive review of Graham Saxby's book, and Oliver Bimber has
contributed a fascinating article on the mixing of traditional holography
and computer graphics.
I hope you enjoy these, and I hope you can consider contributing to The
Hologorapher. Thank your for your support.
